Magic Academy's Genius Blinker - Chapter 125
Chapter 125
Stella Magic Knights (3)
Dark Mages, Azmick and Calavin.
After failing their mission, they had no choice but to cancel their vacation and return immediately.
For Azmick, it was a heartbreaking experience. She was about to get an extended vacation, but even her existing leave was cut short.
But what could they do?
They had even failed to capture a mere student from Stella.
-Kekeke.
-What a disgrace to the Dark Mages, such a disgrace!
-What? You failed against some kids?
-Puhaha! Even a passing goblin would laugh at you!
Those who would usually not dare make a sound were unusually loud today. But Azmick held back. Killing them could wait until later.
“Azmick Costalin.”
“Yes.”
Azmick raised her head at the voice. In front of her sat a man known as the ‘Black Knight’ on a lofty throne.
‘Ruins of the Valkamic Kingdom.’
Once a kingdom renowned as the descendants of the twelve disciples of the Progenitor Mage, it was destroyed overnight, and this man, ‘Blackkingdon,’ had made it uninhabitable.
“Recently, something unfortunate happened.”
“I apologize. I will go back immediately and sever their heads.”
“No need.”
When Blackkingdon cut her off, Azmick bowed her head again.
“I told you not to touch the students of Stella.”
“We received a mission.”
“I know. It was a mission from Moonshadow Church.”
However, Blackkingdon seemed even more displeased.
“Then, are you the hunting dog of the Moonshadow Church?”

His words, though calm, were infuriating enough to make even Azmick, who had been holding back, explode in anger.
“No! I am not their hunting dog!”
“Oh, really? Yet you listened to them well.”
Having nothing more to say, Azmick bit her lip and bowed her head.
“But it’s alright.”
“…What?”
“This incident has allowed us to understand how that cunning Moonshadow Church leader moves.”
“What do you mean…?”
Azmick didn’t seem to understand, but Blackkingdon didn’t explain further.
‘Moonshadow Church. How dare they attack the Dark Mage King’s heir…’
Just as not all humans share the same beliefs, the Dark Mages were the same.
They had a common goal to turn this world into the ‘other world,’ but within, subtle power struggles were ongoing.
And at the center of it was a boy named Ma Yuseong.
A mysterious child possessing both the abilities of the real world and the other world.
Undoubtedly, he was to become the bridge linking the Dark Mage world and the real world.
However, for some reason, Moonshadow Church did not want that.
‘I’ve discovered something interesting…’
Blackkingdon smirked.
“You two may leave, and immediately summon someone.”
As Azmick and Calavin left, two mages in black robes hurriedly approached and bowed.
“Yes! What kind of personnel should we prepare?”
“You, lift your head.”
At Blackkingdon’s command, the black-robed mage lifted her head. Although gender meant little to Dark Mages, the mage seemed biologically female and had likely turned into a dark mage at a young age, given her youthful appearance.
Th i s was c o p ied f ro m k i n gm t l. o r g
Moreover, she possessed significant control over her mana, indicating she was a high-ranking Dark Mage… perfect for this plan.
“Name?”
“Anella.”
“Good, Anella. You’ll do.”
“…Pardon?”
“Prepare to infiltrate Stella Academy.”
“…What?”
What did she just hear?
Anella, a 5th-class mage and a 6-risk Dark Mage, responded with a confused expression, but Blackkingdon was serious.
“Right now.”
* * *
Aiselle walked alongside Arain, occasionally glancing at him. His unusually pale skin and shadowed eyes made him look more like a corpse than a person, yet he was very much alive.
Seeing his shoulder-length hair neatly arranged suggested he didn’t completely neglect his appearance, but it made her wonder how he ended up with such an impression.
‘General Commander of Stella…’
She remembered when her father, Isaac Morf, occasionally mentioned Arain during the days when the Morf family was one of the top noble families in the world.
‘More human than anyone else.’
‘Do you mean he’s very affectionate?’
‘Daughter, why do you think humanity has advanced so far?’
Even those with the best technology, like the dwarves, those with long lifespans and high-level magic, like the elves, those with powerful bodies, like the beastmen, and even dragons with all those advantages couldn’t stop humans from ruling the world.
‘Well…’
T h i s wa s c op ied f ro m k i ngm tl . o rg
‘It’s simple. Because they had the will to move forward.’
Other races pursued single goals. Dwarves were content with making beautiful works and excellent equipment. Elves and angels, with their long lifespans, wanted to enjoy a leisurely life. Beastmen wanted to live in closed spaces with their kin.
Humans were different.
‘For more, for higher, humans constantly strived.’
Even if their goal was someone else’s, they were determined to seize it more than anyone.
‘That’s what humans are.’
‘Ah…’
After hearing that, Aiselle realized something.
‘Then…’
‘Arain was more human than anyone.’
Her father had said.
‘Be wary of humans.’
‘Be wary of truly human humans.’
Now, facing Arain, she found herself thinking.
‘…I don’t understand.’
She still couldn’t fully comprehend her father’s words; her knowledge was too limited.
‘But I should be careful…’
Arain’s steps were calm and serene, giving no sense of danger.
Moreover, despite her father’s warning, Arain’s achievements and reputation were undeniably significant.
The position of Stella’s top knight wasn’t easily attained. Except for the 9th-class mages known as Archmages, he was considered the strongest in combat.
His legendary feat of slaughtering all the dark mages during the ‘Majestic Wall Sinkhole’ incident and calmly returning with the general’s head was still talked about.
So, it was puzzling.
Why was the General Commander of the Knights taking an interest in Baek Yu-seol? He wasn’t someone who would care about a terminally ill student.
Or perhaps, he was interested in ‘Mana Leakage Syndrome’ itself, not Baek Yu-seol?
Aiselle had found that many mages were intrigued by the phenomenon of a body that couldn’t contain mana, considering it a violation of natural laws.
If Arain’s goal wasn’t to save Baek Yu-seol but to uncover the secrets of Mana Leakage Syndrome through experimentation…
‘Of course, that wouldn’t happen…’
Despite her doubts, Aiselle mustered the courage to speak.
T hi s w a s c op i e d f r om k in gm tl. o r g
“Uh, General Commander.”
Arain didn’t respond, but Aiselle continued to ask.
“Why are you interested in a student’s terminal illness?”
“Are you the type who has to voice your curiosity?”
“No, it’s just…”
With Arain’s dismissive tone, Aiselle’s shoulders slumped.
T h i s w a s c o p ie d f rom k i n g m tl. o r g
She was about to give up when he spoke again.
“I’m considering that child as a candidate for the next General Commander.”
“What?”
Hearing something she hadn’t even considered, Aiselle’s mind went blank.
‘A candidate for the next General Commander?’
Did she hear wrong?
“A useful candidate has come up after a long time. If he can be saved, he should be.”
She hadn’t misheard.
Arain was indeed thinking of Baek Yu-seol as a candidate for the next General Commander of Stella. He was so interested that he was willing to change Baek Yu-seol’s nearly incurable terminal condition.
The position of General Commander of the Stella Knights, one of the few titles that could be called ‘the world’s greatest knight,’ was being eyed by Arain for Baek Yu-seol.
It was hard to believe that someone in such a high position was paying attention to Baek Yu-seol.
T h i s w a s c op ie d f r o m k i n gm tl . o rg
Then again, who else but Baek Yu-seol deserved the title of ‘knight’?
Unlike the current magic knights who merely mimicked knights of old, Baek Yu-seol was the only true knight in the world, wielding a sword.
Moreover, his talent shone brightly even within Stella, where the world’s greatest geniuses gathered, so it was understandable that Arain, one of the world’s greatest knights, would take an interest.
“Salute! General Commander Arain is arriving!”
After walking for a while, they arrived at the ‘Stella Orion Tower,’ a place rarely seen by others.
The Orion Tower was accessible only to Stella’s elite knights and researchers, making it off-limits to ordinary students.
It was said that Orion was the source of Stella’s great and mysterious technology, and Aiselle, who never expected to come here, stood with her mouth agape.
“Follow me.”
“Yes, Sir!”
Following Arain into the Orion Tower, Aiselle took an elevator to the top floor. However, it felt as if the elevator kept ascending beyond the roof of the tower.
And then, at some point…
Thunk…!
With a heavy sound, the elevator stopped, and the doors opened.
“Wow.”
A massive library appeared.
The vast space, reminiscent of a gigantic cave, was filled with books. It was incomparable even to the expansive Stella Library.
However, before she could fully express her amazement, unease crept in.
“Is it alright to show a mere student a place like this?”
Arain, finding her words amusing, rarely smiled.
“What kind of information do you think this library holds?”
“Um… just various things…”
“Correct. It holds various information about this world.”
Hearing Arain repeat her words made her feel that ‘various things’ sounded cheap, making her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
“But it’s not ‘all information.’”
“What?”
“How much do you know about the ‘Library of Stars’?”
The Library of Stars.
A legendary place in magical society said to contain all the history, mysteries, truths, knowledge, information, and secrets of this world.
It was said to record even the number of times a fly flapped its wings at a specific time and place.
T h i s w a s c o p i ed f rom k i n g m t l .or g
But that was just a legend.
A library holding all the information in the world was clearly fictional.
“This place was created to mimic the Library of Stars. But it falls short. There’s no need to compare.”
Aiselle couldn’t understand the situation.
“Why are you telling me this?”
“Mana Leakage Syndrome lies outside our knowledge. It’s a ‘supernatural phenomenon’ that can’t be explained by magic.”
To explain something beyond human knowledge, they had to rely on something beyond their understanding.
But that was absurd.
Using a ‘legend’ to cure a mere terminal illness like Mana Leakage Syndrome…
It seemed so ridiculous that Aiselle, knowing Arain as she did, couldn’t bring herself to respond.
As if anticipating her reaction, Arain continued.
“We’ve already found it. No, it’s been with us for over a thousand years.”
“That can’t be…”
It was hard to believe. The legend of the Library of Stars, housing all knowledge, being true. Even if Arain, Stella’s top knight, said it, it was difficult to accept.
However, regardless of what Aiselle thought, he spoke the truth.
“The true name of the Library of Stars is the ‘Constellatio Project.’”
Arain turned to Aiselle and spoke gravely.
“Only the descendants of the twelve disciples of the Progenitor Mage can access it.”
“Oh…”
The twelve disciples of the Progenitor Mage.
If her family, the Morf family, was among them…
Only now did Aiselle understand why such a significant figure as the General Commander of Stella would seek her help.
The Morf family was also one of the descendants of the twelve disciples.
Having heard that one of these descendants was striving to save Baek Yu-seol, it was only natural for Arain to utilize her.
He could even access the valuable information cache, the Constellatio Project.
T h i s w as c opied f r o m k i n gmt l. o r g
“That place holds all the truths of this world. But after witnessing the ‘truth’ upon accessing the Constellatio Project, the twelve disciples sealed it to prevent it from ever being revealed again. Only their descendants could access it.”
“…Why?”
“I don’t know.”
Arain seemed uninterested in the ‘truth’ in the Library of Stars.
“It doesn’t matter to me. What matters is that you can read even a part of that information.”
His expression made it clear. Arain intended to access the Library of Stars.
To achieve his goal of saving a single student, he was willing to do anything.
“…I’ll do it.”
T h i s w as c op ie d f r o m k i n g m t l . o r g
“Good. We’ll start immediately. Prepare yourself.”
Aiselle nodded, and mages in golden robes led her somewhere.
This place, now seen closely, was not an ordinary tower… It looked like a lighthouse.
A tall lighthouse surrounded by stars.
‘…I must find out.’
The Library of Stars?
Constellatio Project?
Honestly, she didn’t know what it all meant.
But if it was the only way she could help… she was determined not to fail.

Holy shit, lore deepens. To be fair, the 12 disciples doesn’t seem that bad except for creating the nobility system. Who would ever want to know that their world, their existance is only part of a game? Of course, it’s not confirmed to be an actual game. Maybe the game was a complete copy and paste of this universe? But then that would make them a lesser dimension. It gives you a sense of existential crisis. Intruiging, indeed.

First time seeing a comment on this site, I thought everybody else would have read the first 180 chapters on the original one, glad to actually see someone after 124 chapters of no comments.

Yoo same. But anyways, this is getting quite interesting. I wonder if the Constellatio Project or rather, the Library of the Stars is something like the Akashic records?
Keremhasid
The constellation project is an automated system created by the first wizard (I think) I also wonder what happened to the dragons
