The ballroom.

The rhythm grew increasingly intense. To the point where it seemed impossible to dance with human legs.
But even in the midst of it, Jackie danced effortlessly. After all, she had four legs.

It had already been hard to keep up with the dance when she had only two legs, but now she had four. Flame shouted, her face turning pale at the sight.

Fueled by anger, Jackie’s dance became even more intense.
Though she hadn’t deviated from modern ballroom dance, she alternated between waltz and tango off-beat, danced solo when the dance should be for two, and hit the rhythm more intensely. It was a chaotic pattern.
Jackie’s magic resonated all around.
Sound waves vibrated, notes struck the air, and beams of ear-piercing light shattered objects.
Even so, the three girls endured, and finally, two more legs sprouted from under Jackie’s skirt, making it six.

By this point, it was more grotesque and horrifying than beautiful, yet the nobles still cheered for Aiharen’s dance.

When the Duchess of Aiharen stomped the ground, fireworks exploded, lights shattered, and glittering dust scattered.
The space folded, raising a stage solely for Aiharen. Red drapes poured down from the walls, forming a red carpet just for her.
Claiming even the surroundings as her own, Jackie began to dance with her six legs.
Feeling the intensifying attack magic, Flame bit her lips with a pale face.
‘This is impossible…’
She could no longer feel her toes. Aiselle’s legs, having moved so fiercely, were already half-gone, barely standing.
Hong Bi-yeon was holding out with sheer willpower, clenching her teeth, but she too was at her limit.
Seeing them, Flame bit her lips hard.
‘At this rate…’
From the moment Jackie possessed Aiharen, the story had completely deviated from the original she knew.

The three girls danced to the rhythm, wielding their staffs. Yellow beams of light, sky-blue icicles, and bright red flames struck Jackie’s body.

Her lower half was frozen, her shoulder was pierced by the light, and her face was horribly burned, causing Jackie to scream in pain.
As she screamed, her form increasingly resembled a spider.
“You… wretched… Aaaah!!!”

Each time they heard the sound of something breaking, a spider form flickered on Jackie’s body. The nobles no longer cheered for her dance.
“The Duchess… of Aiharen…”

“Beautiful…”
The condition for defeating the Duchess of Aiharen was to dance more beautifully than her and dazzle the nobles.

They were horrified, their mouths agape.
Through the vast passageway of the clock tower visible beyond the ceiling.
They saw Baek Yu-seol freely flying around the passage, engaging in a fierce battle with the Major Blade Spider.
‘Could it be… every time he attacks that spider, it weakens the Duchess of Aiharen…?’
Someone was helping.

In her rage, two more legs sprouted from her skirt, finally making it eight.
Still, Jackie herself didn’t seem to notice. She was just satisfied that her dance had become more proficient and hit the rhythm harder.
The music peaked.
A death dance performed with all her might, hinting at the end.

One decisive blow was missing.

The air screamed as if in pain.
A black meteor plummeted from the sky.

It hit precisely where the Duchess of Aiharen stood.
